Are you an experienced Agency Design leader with a passion for turning concepts into captivating visual experiences? We're seeking a highly skilled creative professional who thrives on meticulous attention to detail and has a knack for shaping solutions that resonate with a national audience.
Position Description:
As the Design Director, you'll report directly to the Chief Creative Officer, work alongside other Department Directors, while also lead managing and leading the design studio, as well as a team of up to 4 creatives. Your role will involve managing and maintaining brand visual identity across projects, developing design systems, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work effectively. This is a client facing role that requires up to 30% travel for client pitches and presentations, along with quarterly team meet ups across various US cities.
Essential Functions:
10+ years of experience in graphic design, branding, and experience design within an agency setting, with a proven track record of delivering creative solutions across various media formats
Manage brand voice visually across assigned accounts/projects
Develop and implement campaign and design systems
Create design elements including fonts, graphics, imagery, layout, and movement
Confidently present work internally and to senior clients
Develop prototypes and lead concept motion and animation
Generate a constant flow of creative ideas that tell compelling stories
Stay updated on trends in graphic design, art, film, and popular culture
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite applications, Keynote, and Google Slides
Mentor members of the graphic design team within the studio
